Confidentiality
Therapy is a safe and contained space. I am legally and ethically bound to maintain your privacy. I always tell clients that anything they discuss in the safety of our teletherapy sessions will be held in the lockbox of my head (as well as the HIPAA compliant EHR system where I maintain appropriate and discreet notes). The only exceptions to this rule are if I believe you are an imminent danger to yourself, or others, specifically the elderly community and children. As a mandated reporter, I am required to report any instances of elder abuse or child abuse to the appropriate organizations/law enforcement.
What to Expect
When you send me an email I will respond within 1-3 business days. At this time we can set up a fifteen minute free consultation where we can see if we are the right "fit." (This is not necessary if you know that you'd like to schedule immediately). Following this I would send you intake forms and begin the process of onboarding. To be effective, therapy sessions are generally scheduled once weekly. That being said, to keep therapy affordable you may also decide that every other week is more doable. At this time I am available on Wednesdays from 8am-7pm and Fridays from 8 am-5 pm. Please contact me for exact availability!
